GT Advanced Technologies reports $5.16 million February operating loss

Pittsburgh, March 31 – GT Advanced Technologies, Inc. reported a $5.16 million loss from operations for February on $2.76 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed March 30 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire.
Those figures showed improvement over the $8.48 million loss from operations posted for January on $1.68 million in revenue.
The net loss for February was $8.68 million, narrowing from a $10.63 million January net loss.
The company also had $68.29 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 28, down from $76.65 million at the end of January.
Merrimack, N.H.-based GT Advanced Technologies is a provider of equipment and services that support the growth of the solar and LED industries. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 6 under Chapter 11 case number 14-11916.
