GT Advanced appointed seven member committee of unsecured creditors

New York, Oct. 15 – GT Advanced Technologies, Inc.’s Chapter 11 trustee William K. Harrington assigned seven members to an official committee of unsecured creditors for the company, according to an Oct. 14 notice with the U.S. Bankruptcy court for the District of New Hampshire.

The committee members are Martin Hipp of Manz AG of Germany; Barry Ihrke of U.S. Bank NA of St. Paul, Minn.; Nate Van Duzer of Fidelity Financial Trust: Fidelity Convertibles Securities Investment Fund; Shaun Martin of Elmet Technologies, Inc. of Lewiston, Maine; Derek B. Taylor of Meyer Burger AG of Switzerland; Jason Lang of SGL Carbon LLC of Charlotte, N.C.; and Edward T. Attanasio of Sanmina Corp. of San Jose, Calif.

Merrimack, N.H.-based GT Advanced Technologies is a provider of equipment and services that support the growth of the solar and LED industries. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 6 under Chapter 11 case number 14-11916.
