New Issue: GS Finance prices $196,000 notes linked to MSCI Emerging Markets, Euro Stoxx 50

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 9 – GS Finance Corp. priced $196,000 of 0% notes due Dec. 1, 2022 linked to the MSCI Emerging Markets index and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

For each index, its initial level will be the lowest of its closing levels on the observation dates, which are the 26th of each month beginning on the pricing date and ending on April 26, 2020.

If the final level of each index is greater than or equal to its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the lesser-performing index’s return.

If the final level of either index is less than its initial level but the final level of each index is greater than or equal to 75% of its initial level, the payout will be par.

If the final level of either index is less than 75% of its initial level, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing index declines beyond 25%.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
