Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 2 – GS Finance Corp. priced $647,000 of 0% autocallable notes due Aug. 8, 2022 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The notes will be called at par plus a 10.05% call premium if the index closes at or above its initial level on July 30, 2020 and at par plus 20.1% on July 30, 2021.
If the final index level is at equal to or greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 30.15%.
If the index falls by up to 25%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final index level is less than the initial index level.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter with JPMorgan as placement agent.
