New Issue: GS Finance prices $753,000 buffered notes linked to MSCI EAFE

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 1 – GS Finance Corp. priced $753,000 of 0% buffered notes due July 31, 2024 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 30% and lose 1% for every 1% that the index may decline beyond 30%.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
