New Issue: GS Finance sells $712,000 contingent coupon autocalls on three indexes

By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., May 23 – GS Finance Corp. priced $712,000 of autocallable contingent coupon index-linked notes due Nov. 6, 2020 linked to the least performing of the S&P 500 index, the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at a rate of 9.25% per year if each index closes at or above its 70% coupon trigger level on the related quarterly determination date.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly determination date beginning in October 2019 and ending in July 2020.

The payout at maturity will be par unless any index finishes below its initial level and any index closes below its 70% trigger level on any day during the life of the notes, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the least performing index.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the agent.
