New Issue: GS Finance sells $10,000 index-linked notes on Nasdaq, Russell

Columbus, Ohio, April 29 – GS Finance Corp. priced $10,000 of 0% index-linked notes due May 29, 2020 linked to the lesser performing of the Nasdaq-100 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If neither index ever closes below its 75% trigger level during the life of the notes, the payout will be the maximum settlement amount of $1,075.50 for each $1,000 of notes.

If either index has closed below the trigger level during the life of the notes, but neither finishes below its initial level, the payout will be par.

Otherwise investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the worse performing index.
