New Issue: GS Finance sells $865,000 buffered notes linked to iShares MSCI EM

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 26 – GS Finance Corp. priced $865,000 of 0% buffered notes due March 4, 2020 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any ETF gain, capped at par plus 10%.

Investors will receive par if the ETF falls by up to 13.05% and will lose 1.1501% for every 1% decline beyond 13.05%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent with JPMorgan as placement agent.
