New Issue: Goldman prices $639,000 three-year digital notes linked to Russell 2000

Chicago, Dec. 14 – GS Finance Corp. priced $639,000 of 0% digital notes due Dec. 2, 2021 tied to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index finishes at or above its 85% threshold, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount of 1,180 per $1,000 principal amount.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 15%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
