New Issue: GS Finance prices $1.6 million index-linked trigger notes on MSCI EM

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 19 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.6 million of 0% index-linked trigger notes due Sept. 16, 2021 linked to the MSCI Emerging Markets index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. guarantees the notes.

If the index return is at least 65% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of zero and 1.5 times the index return, up to a maximum return of $1,466.50 per $1,000 of notes.

Otherwise, investors will receive par plus the index return, with full exposure to the index decline.

The final index level will be the average of its levels on Sept. 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13 of 2021.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the placement agent.
