New Issue: Goldman prices $5.39 million buffered notes linked to S&P 500

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 8 – GS Finance Corp. priced $5.39 million of 0% buffered notes due July 31, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 32.5% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
