Columbus, Ohio, March 27 – GS Finance Corp. priced $4.33 million of callable contingent coupon notes due March 28, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
Each six months, the notes pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of 6.5% if each index closes at or above 55% of its initial level on the determination date.
The notes will be callable at par on any observation date after one year.
The payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon, unless either index closes below 55% of its initial level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the lesser performing index.
