GS Finance to price one-year digital notes linked to the Dow, S&P 500

Morgantown, W.Va., Feb. 20 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due March 7, 2019 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the return of each underlier is at least negative 20%, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount of $1,082.50 per $1,000 of notes.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser performing underlier from its initial level.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes will price Feb. 21.

The Cusip number is 40055AMH7.
