GS Finance to price digital notes linked to Amazon, Apple, Netflix

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 1 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital equity-linked notes due June 20, 2019 linked to the common stocks of Amazon.com, Inc., Apple Inc. and Netflix, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the return of each stock is greater than or equal to negative 30%, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,210 to $1,270 per $1,000 principal amount of notes and will be set at pricing. Otherwise, the payout will be par minus 1% for every 1% that the least-performing stock declines from its initial share price.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the underwriter.

The notes will price Dec. 15.

The Cusip number is 40055AA23.
