GS Finance to price autocallables on Motif Capital Aging of America

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 20 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% autocallable notes due Dec. 12, 2024 linked to the Motif Capital Aging of America 7 ER index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index closes at or above the applicable call level on any annual call observation date, the notes will be automatically called at par plus a call return of 10% per year. The call level will be 105% of the initial level for the first call observation date on Nov. 27, 2018 and steps up by 500 basis points each year to a call level of 130% of the initial level for the final call observation date on Nov. 27, 2023.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain. If the index falls, the payout will be par.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes will price Nov. 27.

The Cusip number is 40054LZR8.
