GS Finance to sell digital notes on iShares MSCI EM, Euro Stoxx 50

By Marisa Wong

Morgantown, W.Va., Nov. 13 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due May 24, 2019 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund and the Euro Stoxx 50 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the return of each underlier is at least negative 25%, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,101 to $1,111 per $1,000 of notes and will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser-performing underlier from its initial level.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.

The notes will price on Nov. 17.

The Cusip number is 40054LYN8.
