Goldman plans 4.25% coupon callable buffered notes tied to Russell

Chicago, Nov. 6 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 4.25% callable fixed coupon buffered notes due Nov. 30, 2022 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

The notes are callable at par on interest payment date after one year.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the index falls by more than 15%, in which case investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is the guarantor.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Nov. 27.

The Cusip number is 40054LZJ6.
