Columbus, Ohio, July 25 – GS Finance Corp. priced $500,000 of callable contingent coupon notes due Jan. 26, 2021 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of 6% if each index closes at or above its barrier level, 60% of its initial level, on the observation date for that period.
The notes are callable at par on any coupon payment date from January 2018 to October 2020.
The payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon, if any, unless either index closes below 60% of its initial level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the loss of the lesser-performing index.
