GS Finance plans eight-year index-linked notes on the Dow

Columbus, Ohio, May 11 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% index-linked trigger notes due May 30, 2025 based on the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. will guarantee the notes.

If the final level of the index is equal to or greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,800 to $1,900 per $1,000 note.

Otherwise, the payout will be par.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the placement agent.

The notes are expected to price on May 24 and settle on May 30.

The Cusip number is 40054LAQ7.
