Goldman Sachs plans five-year digital notes linked to S&P 500

Chicago, April 21 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due May 2, 2022 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index finishes at or above its 70% threshold, the payout at maturity will be the threshold settlement amount of $1,285 for each $1,000 principal amount.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1.4286% for each 1% decline beyond 30%.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The notes will price on April 27 and settle on May 2.
The Cusip number is 40054L7J7.
