GS Finance plans to price PLUS linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Tacoma, Wash., April 17 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 24, 2018 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 200% of the ETF’s return, subject to a maximum return of 23.4%.

If the final share price is less than the initial share price, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management is acting as dealer.

The notes will price April 19.

The Cusip number is 36251V598.
