New Issue: Goldman prices $3.29 million autocallable index-linked notes on Russell, Nikkei

Columbus, Ohio, March 13 – GS Finance Corp. priced $3.29 million of 0% autocallable index-linked notes due March 12, 2020 tied to the Russell 2000 index and the Nikkei 225 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will be called at par plus a 12.65% annualized premium if the indexes close at or above their call levels, 100% of their initial levels on the first annual observation date and 95% of their initial levels on the second.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus 37.95% if each index closes at or above 90% of its initial level.

If the lesser performing index finishes below its initial level but at or above its trigger level, 75% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par.

If either index falls by more than 25%, investors will be exposed to any losses of the worst-performing index.
