Goldman Sachs to price leveraged notes on Dow Jones industrial average

Norfolk, Va., July 13 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged notes due July 29, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by the Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.38 times to 1.48 times any index gain. The exact upside participation rate will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive the absolute value of the return if the index falls by up to 30% and will be fully exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes will price on July 22 and settle on July 29.

The Cusip number is 40054KEW2.
