Chicago, March 12 – GS Finance Corp. priced $940,000 of callable contingent coupon equity-linked notes due July 3, 2025 linked to the common stock of Amazon.com, Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annualized rate of 12% if the stock closes above its 64.55% coupon trigger price on the related observation date.
The notes are callable at par plus any contingent coupon otherwise due on any quarterly call coupon payment date after one year.
If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par unless the shares finish below the 64.55% trigger barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline.
