New Issue: GS Finance prices $7.88 million leveraged buffered index-linked notes on S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., Jan. 4 – GS Finance Corp. priced $7.88 million of 0% leveraged buffered index-linked notes due June 25, 2026 tied to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index return is positive, investors will receive par plus 200% of the index gain, capped at par plus 25%.
If the index return is flat or falls by up to 10%, investors will receive par. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 10%.
