New Issue: GS Finance prices $1.46 million buffered digital notes on S&P 500

Buffalo, N.Y., June 9 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.46 million of 0% buffered digital index-linked notes due June 28, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the final level of the index is greater than or equal to its threshold level, 90% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 9.35%.

If the index declines by more than 10% but finishes at or above its 85% buffer value, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the underwriter.
