Columbus, Ohio, April 19 – GS Finance Corp. priced $40.3 million of 0% dual directional buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 3, 2024 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
If the index finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times the gain, capped at $11.39 per $10.00 note.
If the index falls but not by more than 15%, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return of the index.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any decline in the index beyond the buffer.
