Chicago, Oct. 25– GS Finance Corp. priced $500,000 of autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked notes due Aug. 23, 2022 linked to the common stock of Affirm Holdings Inc., according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The notes will pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annual rate of 30% if the stock closes at or above the 40% downside threshold on the related determination date.
The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if the stock closes at or above its initial price on the coupon observation date in May.
The payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon unless the stock finishes below its 40% trigger buffer level, in which case investors will lose 1% for each 1% share price decline.
