New Issue: GS Finance sells $3.96 million 7.25% callable fixed coupon index-linked notes on S&P

Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 24 – GS Finance Corp. priced $3.96 million of 7.25% callable fixed coupon index-linked notes due Oct. 14, 2025 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

The notes are callable at par plus the fixed coupon on any interest payment date after one year.

If the notes are not called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon unless the index finishes below its 60% trigger buffer level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the index from its initial level.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
