New Issue: GS Finance sells $2.8 million index-linked notes on two MSCI indexes

Buffalo, N.Y., May 19 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.8 million of 0% index-linked notes due April 24, 2026 linked to the least performing of the MSCI Emerging Markets Value index and the MSCI Japan Value index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the final level of each index is greater than or equal to 125% of its initial level, the return will be positive and will equal par plus 25% plus an additional 2.3% for each 1% by which the final level of the lesser performing index exceeds 125% of its initial level.

If the final level of any index is less than 125% of its initial level but the final level of each index is greater than or equal to its initial level, the return on your notes will be positive and will equal $1,250 per $1,000 note.

If the final level of any index is less than the initial but greater than the 60% buffer, par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the lesser-performing index.
