New Issue: GS Finance sells $113,000 autocallable contingent coupon notes on S&P 500

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, April 21 – GS Finance Corp. priced $113,000 of autocallable contingent coupon equity-linked notes due April 6, 2026 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 5% if the index closes at or above its coupon trigger level, 70% of the initial level, on the determination date for that period.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if the index closes at or above the initial level on any quarterly determination date after one year.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes below its 60% trigger level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the loss.
