By Colin Hanner

Chicago, June 5 – South Korea’s GS Caltex Corp. is offering dollar-denominated five-year notes, a market source said.

Proceeds of the Rule 144A and Regulation S notes (Baa2/BBB) will be used primarily for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of current borrowings, Moody’s Investors Service and S&P Global Ratings said in news releases.

GS Caltex is an oil refiner based in Seoul.
