By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Jan. 2 - Groeb Farms, Inc. merged with Natural American Foods, Inc., which announced the completion of its sale to an affiliate of Peak Rock Capital on Thursday, according to a Natural American news release.

As previously reported, Groeb Farms' plan of reorganization took effect on Dec. 31.

Natural American Foods said it now enjoys a fully recapitalized balance sheet with professional management and significant capital resources provided by its new owner to invest in and grow the company.

The former Groeb Farms is an Onsted, Mich.-based processor and packager of honey for food manufacturers, food service companies and retail customers.
