Energias de Portugal to redeem subordinated notes due 2079

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 27 – EDP - Energias de Portugal, SA will redeem the remaining €327.2 million, or all 3,272 outstanding notes, of its €1 billion fixed-to-reset rate subordinated notes due 2079 (ISIN: PTEDPKOM0034) on April 3, according to a notice.

Accrued interest will also be paid.

The financial services subsidiary of Energias de Portugal is based in Amsterdam.
