Standard Chartered will early redeem ¥111 billion bonds due 2024

Lexington, Ky., Nov. 8 – Standard Chartered plc has called its ¥111 billion fixed-rate bonds due 2024 (ISIN: JP582605AJB5), according to a notice.

All outstanding bonds will be redeemed on Nov. 22 at par plus interest.

The Prudential Regulation Authority has given consent for the redemption.

Following the redemption, no bonds will be outstanding. They will be withdrawn from the Hong Kong Exchange.

The banking and financial services company is based in London.
