Citizens Bank moves to redeem two series of notes on Feb. 27

Lexington, Ky., Feb. 1 – Citizens Bank NA will early redeem all of its outstanding $500 million 3.7% senior notes due March 29, 2023 (Cusip: 17401QAQ4) and its $250 million floating-rate senior notes due March 29, 2023 (Cusip: 17401QAR2), according to a press release.

The redemption date is set for Feb. 27.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus unpaid interest to, but excluding, the redemption date.

After the redemption, the notes will no longer be outstanding and interest will cease to accrue.

Citizens Bank is a unit of Citizens Financial Group, Inc., a Providence, R.I.-based bank holding company.
