Southwestern Energy repays, terminates $546 million term loan

Buffalo, N.Y., Dec. 30 – Southwestern Energy Co. repaid in full all outstanding debt under its term loan credit agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA as administrative agent on Dec. 30, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The approximately $546 million payoff amount included principal, accrued interest, fees and expenses. Southwestern funded the repayment with approximately $305 million in cash on hand and approximately $250 million of borrowings from its revolver.

Upon repayment, the facility was terminated.

Southwestern Energy is a Spring, Tex.-based producer of natural gas and natural gas liquids.
