TransAlta to pay down credit facility borrowings with notes proceeds

New York, Nov. 14 – TransAlta Corp. plans to repay $100 million drawn under its credit facility and replace balance sheet cash used to fund the repayment in full of its 2022 notes using proceeds from a $400 million green senior notes offering, according to a market source.

TransAlta is a Calgary, Alta.-based developer, owner and operator of renewable power generation facilities.
