Casino, Guichard-Perrachon accepts €154 million tendered 2023 notes

Los Angeles, Nov. 7 – Casino, Guichard-Perrachon SA announced the success of its Oct. 28 cash tender offer for any and all of its euro medium-term notes due Jan. 25, 2023 (ISIN: FR0011400571).

The company will buy back and cancel all €154 million of tendered notes, leaving €35.7 million principal amount outstanding, according to a Monday press release.

At the start of the offer, €189.7 million of the original €1 billion principal amount was outstanding. Interest on the 2023 notes had also stepped up to 4.561% from an initial 3.311%.

The company will purchase the tendered notes at par plus accrued interest.

The offer expired at 11 a.m. ET on Nov. 4. Settlement will take place in the coming days, the company said on Monday.
