Turkcell Iletisim buys another $2 million face amount of eurobonds

Chicago, March 11 – Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS continued its recent trend of buying back its eurobonds under their par amounts, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday.

The company bought another $2 million face amount of the bonds (ISIN: XS1298711729) at 92.55. The company paid a total $1,898,917 in the transaction.

Turkcell bought another $14 million face amount of the bonds in earlier transactions throughout the week.

The mobile phone operator is based in Istanbul.
