Three hhgregg debtors post operating results for month ended July 31

Pittsburgh, Aug. 21 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for July, the same as in June, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition, the company had no cash in July or June.

The Gregg Appliances Inc. debtor saw an $885,000 operating loss for July on zero net sales. The operating loss for June was $67,000, also on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances posted $1.29 million of net income for July, down from $1.56 million of June net income.

Also, Gregg Appliances listed $12.57 million in cash as of July 31, down from $13.1 million at the end of June.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for July or June.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
