CenterPoint prepays remaining $700 million of term loan due in June

Columbus, Ohio, May 14 – CenterPoint Energy, Inc. prepaid the remaining $700 million of borrowings under its term loan agreement dated May 15, 2019 with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. as administrative agent on Friday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The term loan had a maturity date of June 14, 2021 and bore interest at Libor plus 65 basis points.

CenterPoint Energy is a Houston-based electricity transmitter and distributor.
