New Issue: Greenwich, Conn., sells $56.5 million G.O. bonds and G.O. BANs

New York, Jan. 18 - The Town of Greenwich, Conn., sold $56.5 million of series 2012 general obligation bonds and G.O. bond anticipation notes, according to a term sheet.

The deal included $16.5 million of series 2012 G.O. bonds and $40 million of series 2012 G.O. bond anticipation notes.

The bonds were sold competitively. Calls to the issuer for the winning bidders were not returned by press time Wednesday evening.

The 2012 G.O. bonds are due 2013 to 2032 with 2% to 3% coupons. The 2012 G.O. BANs are due Jan. 24, 2013 and have a 1.5% coupon priced at 101.371.

Proceeds will fund capital improvements within the town and refund a portion of the town's G.O. bond anticipation notes.
