Roadrunner Transportation to repay ABL, term loan via asset sale

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 28 – Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. plans to pay down all borrowings under its asset-based lending facility and term loan with proceeds of the sale of its Prime Distribution Services business to C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. for $225 million, according to a news release.

The sale is expected to close by the end of the first quarter.

The Prime Distribution Services business, based in Plainfield, Ind., provides a suite of retail consolidation solutions, with five food-grade warehouses across the United States and a team of retail supply chain experts.

Roadrunner is an asset-light transportation and logistics service provider based in Cudahy, Wis.
