S&P Global to redeem all outstanding 4.4% senior notes due 2026

By Taylor Fox

New York, Aug. 13 – S&P Global intends to redeem all of its outstanding 4.4% senior notes due 2026 (Cusip: 78409VAK0, 78409VAG9 and U75091AD7) that are not purchased in its tender offer for the 2026 notes that will expire at 5 p.m. ET on Aug. 14, according to a news release.

This announcement comes after Thursday’s anticipated closing of the sale of S&P’s 1.25% senior notes due 2030 and 2.3% senior notes due 2060.

The redemption price for the 2026 notes will be equal to the outstanding principal amount of the notes plus a make-whole premium determined in accordance with the terms of the notes, plus interest to, but not including, the redemption date.

The redemption date is expected to be Sept. 12.
