Cogent plans to redeem all $189.23 million 5 5/8% senior notes at par

Olympia, Wash., May 11 – Cogent Communications Holdings, Inc. subsidiary Cogent Communications Group, Inc. plans to redeem all $189,225,000 of its 5 5/8% senior notes due 2021, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The redemption will be made in two parts, with $94,613,000 of the notes being redeemed on June 8 and the remaining $94,612,000 of notes being redeemed on June 9.

The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to but not including the redemption dates.

The redemptions are subject to some conditions.
