By Wendy Van Sickle
Columbus, Ohio, April 1 – American Airlines, Inc. borrowed $2.73 billion under three revolving credit facilities on Wednesday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
American borrowed the full $450 million under an April 2016 revolver with Barclays Bank plc as administrative agent and the full $750 million under a 2013 revolver with Deutsche Bank AG New York Branch as administrative agent.
The company also borrowed $1,532,500,000 under a 2014 revolver with Citibank, NA as administrative agent, leaving $110 million of availability under this credit facility.
As previously reported, the company announced last week that it had borrowed $1 billion under a senior secured delayed-draw term loan entered on March 18.
The company is a Fort Worth-based airline.
