AMC Entertainment draws $215 million, £89.2 million under facilities

Columbus, Ohio, March 24 – AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. borrowed $215 million under its $225 million revolving credit facility due April 22, 2024 and £89.2 million under its £100 million credit facility secured by the assets of its Odeon subsidiary in England and Wales on Friday.
The amounts borrowed constitute all of the remaining available amounts under the credit facilities, net of letters of credit.
The company undertook the borrowings to increase its cash position and preserve financial flexibility in light of current uncertainty in the global markets resulting from the Covid-19 outbreak.
AMC is a movie exhibition company based in Leawood, Kan.
