Compass Minerals to repay all debt under existing credit agreement

Olympia, Wash., Nov. 20 – Compass Minerals International, Inc. plans to repay all outstanding debt under its existing credit agreement using proceeds from a new note offering and borrowings under an expected new amended and restated credit agreement, according to a press release.
The company announced Wednesday that it plans to offer $500 million of eight-year senior notes.
Compass Minerals, through its subsidiaries, produces salt, magnesium chloride, sulfate of potash and other plant nutrition products.
