Sirius XM Radio redeems $1.5 billion 6% notes due 2024 at 103

Olympia, Wash., July 18 – Sirius XM Holdings Inc. subsidiary Sirius XM Radio Inc. redeemed all $1.5 billion of its 6% senior notes due 2024 on Thursday, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes were redeemed at 103 plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

As previously reported, the company planned to finance the redemption using proceeds from a new $750 million offering of five-year senior notes and cash on hand.

Sirius XM is a New York-based audio entertainment company.
